Nate’s journey with TGCP…
Exceptional Young People
Nate T
Been attending for 7 months
Overcame low confidence
Considering voluntary work
Nate was referred to the project by Team Around The Family (TAF) in September 2023. Nate is dyslexic and has chronic fatigue and really struggles at school. TAF referred him to the project to help him get out and communicate with others.
When we asked Nate what had helped him most, he said that The Game Change Project has made him more confident and he has discovered new hobbies which he never would have tried before.
Nate’s family said he is much happier after attending TGCP. He talks about his experiences and participates more in family life. He enjoys cooking and is thinking of volunteering at Newtown Food Surplus.
