About us
Our story began back in 2019 when we decided to form a Community Interest Company so that we could utilise the wonderful resources we have at our venue in Mid Wales, combined with our passion and energy for helping young people.
Here at The Game Change Project we aim to create opportunities for young people to raise their aspirations and improve their confidence and self esteem by bringing them outside the traditional classroom setting to participate in fun and engaging activities which literally "bring learning to life".
OUR MISSION
TO PROVIDE A LIFELINE FOR DISENGAGED YOUNG PEOPLE IN POWYS BY PROVIDING A PRACTICAL, OUTDOOR LEARNING ENVIRONMENT WHERE THEY CAN DEVELOP THE CONFIDENCE, SKILLS AND MOTIVATION TO GROW, THRIVE AND CONTRIBUTE TO MID WALES.
Meet the Team
Our dedicated team of coaches, volunteers and directors are passionate about helping young people achieve their full potential. We are all trained in Advanced Safeguarding, Data Protection, Positive Behaviour Management and First Aid.
We strive to develop our professional knowledge and keep up to date with issues facing young people today. The team have recently undergone bespoke training to help us support neurodiverse young people. Staff are trained in First Aid for Mental Health and Managing Safely. Our coaches are qualified in their areas of expertise.
